Nigel Stead, former Lex Autolease chief executive and current non-executive director at Vertu Motors, has taken up another non-executive director post with APD Research.
 
Stead has taken up the post of non-executive director on the enlarged board of APD Global Research & Development, the supplier of automotive business intelligence, customer feedback systems and tailored research programmes.
 
Stead joins APD as the company embarks on a major expansion programme extending its business reach within the UK and Europe and in Asia Pacific.
 
A former chairman of the BVRLA (British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association) and, before his retirement, CEO at Lex Autolease, the UK’s largest vehicle leasing company. Stead now holds non-executive directorships at Vertu Motors, Prohire and Merrion Fleet Management, the second largest leasing company in Ireland.
