A new Audi dealership has just opened its doors in Milton Keynes after a nine month project and investment of £8 million.

The 17-car showroom and 18-bay service and MoT workshop is being operated by Jardine Motors Group.

The 3,520 sq m site includes a private customer lounge, a concept taken from the Audi City site and implementing in key urban dealerships, plus an area dedicated to Audi Sport.

It also has a drive-through check-in for service customers, and forecourt space for more than 100 Audi Approved used cars and parking for more than 300 cars.

Jardine has also expanded the team, with 20 additional positions being created as a result of the dealership's relocation, bringing the total workforce to 90 staff.

Mark Herbert, chief executive of Jardine Motors Group, said: "The completion of this new dealership marks the latest stage in our property investment programme and also signifies the importance of our relationship with our Audi partners in the UK.

"In addition to opening Milton Keynes Audi, September has also seen us complete major refurbishments at our Audi Centres in Shrewsbury and Hitchin."

Jason Cranswick, Audi UK's head of customer quality and network development, added: “The original Milton Keynes Audi served the area well for many years but it was essential that we relocated to move with the times and provide Milton Keynes with an appropriate state-of-the-art Audi Centre within easy striking distance of the M1.

“The new facility will undoubtedly be more convenient for many customers.  It offers significantly more scope for extensive, innovative representation of our fast-expanding range of new and approved used models, underpinned by superb service facilities and offering ample space for growth for our broadening customer base.”
