BMW, Kia, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Toyota will all be running adverts during the Super Bowl event this weekend.
The Super Bowl is the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL) in the United States of America.
Volkswagen had a huge hit with its Darth Vader advert in 2011, which involved a kid dressed as Darth Vader from the Star Wars movies seemingly turning a 2012 Passat on with his mind, but has decided not to advertise during the event this year.
The Super Bowl takes place this Sunday 1 at 6:30pm ET.
