RAC has announced a new deal that will give the 1,200 members of the RAC Dealer Network use of Tootle.

The arrangement is a “key benefit for the RAC’s dealers, allowing them to bid online to buy cars offered by private motorists nationwide”.

Over the last 12 months, Tootle has sold more than £19.5 million worth of used vehicles.

Tootle’s CEO Gordon Tulloch  said: “We are excited by this latest development with such an established organisation as the RAC.

“Applying to new dealer customers from the network, this move step changes the number of dealers who are buying cars through Tootle, which is something that will help to further build volume and competition through our platform.

“The quality of dealers that make up the RAC Dealer Network is very high and we are looking forward to working with them.”

RAC Dealer Network’s sales director Sean Kent said: “The kind of vehicles often sold through Tootle very much fit in with the ethos of the RAC Dealer Network.

“We are continuing to build the range of benefits that are available to dealers who become part of the RAC Dealer Network. Use of Tootle is the latest and one that will prove very popular over time, we believe.”
