Vauxhall retailers are now able to include brakes, battery and clutch cover in their Network Q extended warranty packages after teaming up with Allianz Global Assistance UK.

Network Q is helping its retailers stand out in a crowded marketplace with the support of the leading warranty product provider, offering customers better protection from the cost of repairing or replacing their vehicle’s brakes, battery and clutch.

The cover includes failure from wear and tear, frictional materials and contamination of oil or fluids, which is not covered under a standard used car warranty.

Steve Crosbie, Network Q operations manager at Vauxhall Motors Ltd, said: “Every Network Q customer gets the minimum of 12 months warranty. 

“If they choose to do so, retailers can also add the excellent additional benefit of brakes, battery and clutch cover free of charge to the customer.

“This product provides Vauxhall owners additional ‘peace of mind’ helping to reduce the cost of ownership and protecting them from unexpected repair bills.”

The warranty programme is available for vehicles up to seven-years-old and 70,000 miles, with the option to purchase a further 12 or 24 months cover.
