Phil Webb and Leon Brannan have exchanged roles at Honda (UK).

Webb (right), formerly head of dealer development, has become head of cars, and Brannan (left) head of franchise and dealer development.

The two men have collectively worked for 30 years at Honda (UK), most recently sitting on the senior management group board.

Philip Crossman, Honda (UK) managing director, said: “This year has seen Honda introduce a whole new car model line-up and we are experiencing very positive momentum in all areas of the Car business.

“Dealers are reporting strong demand for new Type-R, new Jazz and new HR-V, as well as our core Civic & CR-V, both of which were refreshed this year.

“Our strategic direction, started by Leon, remains unchanged for the car business; Phil will support the car dealer network to help them fully exploit the opportunity the Honda car brand offers them. We have the newest model line-up in the industry and we need to maximise this opportunity.

"Leon will ensure that all Honda (UK) business areas are in optimum shape to meet the increasingly competitive environment they operate within.

“Customer preferences and trends are rapidly changing with routes to market quickly evolving. The reform of our individual franchises and quality of our representation is key to ensuring we are ready to embrace developing market conditions.”
