Work begins on Jardine’s new Oldham Audi showroom

Work has begun to develop the site of a former hospital into a new 17-car Audi showroom in Oldham for Jardine Motors Group.

Oldham Council has brokered a deal on behalf of the NHS, subject to planning approval, to bring the £8m development to a site formerly occupied by the Westhulme Hospital, off Chadderton Way, Oldham, earlier this year.

The proposals were rubber-stamped at a Cabinet meeting in July last year and plans included a 17-car showroom, a 24-bay service workshop and full aftersales and pre-delivery inspection service centre.

This week the Oldham Chronicle published images of development work getting underway at the site.
