MG Motor UK has added Chorley Group to its growing portfolio of franchised dealership operators with the opening of new showrooms in Chorley and Burnley.

The Chorley-based group is already planning to expand it MG representation into Blackpool, Wigan and Preston and group sales director Adam Turner said that he believes the brand presents “a real opportunity for us”.

Turner added: “It has huge heritage in the North West and people remember the brand with fond memories. This, coupled with the exciting new product line-up, made the decision to add the marque to our sales portfolio an easy decision.”

Chorley Group, was founded as Bugle Inn Motor Co in 1989 and has five locations retailing Fiat, Hyundai, Kia, MG and Nissan, across Lancashire.

The group has transformed its headquarters in Chorley into a dedicated MG showroom to mark the arrival of the stylish MG3 hatchback, GS SUV and the impending arrival of the new ZS compact SUV.
