Dealer Auction - the digital wholesale marketplace - has launched a promotion aimed at encouraging independent dealers to sell stock through the platform.
Qualifying dealers can try the platform for 90 days subscription free and without commitment, plus all fees for their first sale are waived.
Dealers going on to sign up for a subscription will get their first sale of each month free, giving them a saving of up to £600 over a year, Dealer Auction said.
Le Etta Pearce, Dealer Auction’s chief executive officer, said: “We want more independent dealers to list their vehicles on the platform and to experience the benefits for themselves, but understand that for some, it can feel like a leap of faith.
“So, we’re removing the barriers in our control to encourage more vehicles onto the platform. Three months gives them a chance to really get to grips with how the platform works and allows them to see the additional profit it brings.”
The trial is open to all independent dealers who are new to the platform.
Etta Pearce added that Dealer Auction is best known as a platform that connects franchised dealer stock to buyers, but the platform is open to dealers of all sizes.
She added: “We opened the platform for independent dealers to sell last year and have been delighted with the response. Independents have helped swell the volume of stock available on the platform and the feedback from buyers has been positive.”
Land Rover dominated Dealer Auction’s 2022 used car margin rankings, accounting for 40% of the top 10 models offering the strong profit opportunities to retailers.
