Attendees packed the hall at the NEC in Birmingham as the car retail sector’s number one expo and networking event, Automotive Management Live, took place.

The event, brought to you by AM and the National Franchised Dealer Association (NFDA), attracted franchised and independent dealers plus industry professionals to its dedicated seminar theatres and  exhibition hall packed with the latest innovations from the UK’s leading automotive retail suppliers.

The seminar content across the day was split between Digital, Sales, Aftersales and Strategy, covering all the biggest industry topics including the agency retail model, disruptor EV brands entering the UK market, used car data science, electric vehicle profits and more.

Leading UK automotive retail experts from Arnold Clark, Pendragon, Peter Vardy, Inchcape, CarShop, Carbase and Wilsons shared case studies and their expertise at the show.

Innovative digital transformation specialists from CitNOW Group, Keyloop, Marketing Delivery, Phyron and Reputation were on hand to offer their support and advice on the latest thinking on topics like omnichannel retailing, AI and automation, marketing and more.

Strategic sessions focused on three key areas - emerging car manufacturers that are challenging established European brands, the big shift in the way many franchised dealers do business with increasing numbers of car manufacturers embracing the agency model, as well a medium and long-term strategic view on how artificial intelligence (AI) will further transform the industry in the years to come.

Alongside the full day schedule of seminar content, there were over 50 innovative suppliers under one roof for delegates to explore the latest innovations and benchmark the best solutions for their business.
