Lloyd Kia Carlisle is preparing to officially unveil its new showroom to the public after seven months of redevelopment.

They have remained open throughout the process, using alternative premises at Lloyd AllRoad and Lloyd Used Car Centre, but can now welcome back customers to a renewed, eco-conscious site on Grearshill Road, Kingstown.

The showroom features Kia’s latest dealer experience and brand identity, currently being rolled out across the global Kia dealer network with separate zones for customers and car displays. With greener technology implemented throughout the building, the massive investment continues to display the Lloyd confidence in the Kia franchise.

Sam Lloyd, managing director at Lloyd Motor Group, said: “The new facility looks fantastic and further displays our commitment to the Kia brand, which is growing from strength to strength.”

The design of the new showroom has totally transformed the Grearshill Road site, offering more room and a spacious layout. Wooden features provide a warm and inviting atmosphere with a comfortable waiting area and multiple sales desks to assist more customers.

There has also been investment into the aftersales side of the business. The state-of-the-art workshop now has doubled capacity with inbuilt tool stations, a new parts department, and a brand-new purpose-built valeting bay

Roy Holliday, head of business at Lloyd Kia Carlisle added: “ With Kia being one of the most successful manufacturers in the market today, it is fantastic to have facilities that reflect this.”

The new showroom will be open and ready for business on December 9. Lloyd Motor Group, founded in 1976, operates in 33 locations across northern England and southern Scotland and employs over 1,300 people.
