AM100 dealership group Drive Motor Retail has been named 2025 Bodyshop Group of the Year by the National Accident Repair Group at the British Bodyshop Awards.
The accolade is the latest in a string of industry recognitions for the company, which operates eight body shops across the country.
The announcement was followed by further success at the FixAuto 2025 Conference held on May 7 at the Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham.
Among the highlights, Wayne Winwood of Drive/FixAuto Hartlepool was honoured as Network Employee of the Year for Region 2.
Drive/FixAuto Redcar also received the 10-Year Partnership Award, celebrating a decade of collaboration, while Drive/FixAuto Bristol North was shortlisted for Admiral Repairer of the Year.
These achievements build on a strong year for Drive Motor Retail, with the company’s Darlington team securing the Stellantis Manufacture "Stellar" Accident Repair Programme Award 2024, and its Bury St Edmunds site being named Best Customer Repair Partner 2024 by Southeast Enterprise.
“Being named Bodyshop Group of the Year once again is a huge testament to our team’s hard work and dedication to excellence,” said Jason Bond (pictured above), bodyshop director at Drive Motor Retail.
“Attending the awards ceremonies with my team was a proud moment that reflects years of consistent effort and innovation. I want to thank every member of the Bodyshop team - this recognition is a direct result of your outstanding work.”
Drive Motor Retail has an annual turnover of approximately £400 million and a workforce of over 800 employees across 28 dealerships nationwide.
