Car dealer Lookers has appointed Tony Dray as fleet and commercial director.

The company also confirmed that it has appointed Dan Middleton and David Chilvers as national account directors and Liz Williams as customer service director within the same division.

Sitting on the operations board, Dray (pictured) will report directly to Lookers’ managing director Nigel McMinn.

Dray was previously fleet and commercial director at TrustFord, heading up its nine fleet centres and 14 commercial centres.

He said: “After 30 years with the same company, building something I became very proud of, it needed to be a truly fantastic opportunity to have enticed me away.

“Lookers was that opportunity. With 120 sites representing over 30 franchises, our offering is truly unique. The mix of both volume and prestige brands means that we can offer customers real choice, industry leading service levels, and relationships that last – even if their choice of manufacturer changes."

Other key appointments confirmed today include Chris Pritchard as Ford CV manager and Andrew McGinnis and Simon Preston as fleet national account managers.

Lookers' managing director Nigel McMinn, said: “Our continued investment within the fleet market is part of our growth strategy and I am thrilled that Tony has joined Lookers. Fleet success is built around great people, process and the service levels we offer. I now have every confidence we have the best team possible to take our Fleet division to the next level.”
