Jules Tilstone is to become director for premium brands Alfa Romeo and DS Automobiles, replacing Julie David. 

Replacing Tilstone in his current role as managing director for Jeep will be Kris Cholmondeley, currently marketing director for Peugeot and replacing Cholmondeley in this role at Peugeot will be Max Bailly. All changes are effective from 1 November.

Tilstone has over 20 years of experience across Stellantis. He started his career with the company as commercial manager, developing into national fleet and then marketing for Citroën before moving to DS Automobiles to the position of international head of marketing, European commercial director and UK managing director before taking over as managing director for the Jeep brand at the start of this year.

Julie David, Stellantis UKJulie David, managing director premium brands, will be retiring from the company on 31 October. David has been an integral part of the team since she joined in January 2021 originally joining as managing director of Peugeot and then latterly leading the premium brands. She will be taking the opportunity to pursue what she describes as her 'last chapter' of her professional life, taking an alternative, but related, career path.

Kris Cholmondeley started his career with Peugeot in 2004. Previous roles include head of communications – DS Automobiles, head of business sales – Citroën and DS and head of sales strategy – Citroën and DS and head of PR for Alfa Romeo and DS Automobiles until recently marketing director for Peugeot.

Max Bailly joined Peugeot in 2015 and has held multiple roles in the marketing department, including product manager, head of commercial actions, head of product & pricing and interim marketing director.  He returns to Peugeot to take on the role of marketing director having supported the group managing director as planning director during 2023.
