AM has issued a call for discussion papers in readiness for launching a brand new feature at Automotive Management Live 2018 – The Vision For The Future seminar.

AM is creating a special zone at Automotive Management Live 2018, which will be held on November 8 at Birmingham NEC, to reflect the changing retail landscape and propose that technology is changing the way people use cars and the way dealers retail them.

This feature and an accompanying seminar session will demonstrate and also debate the likely changes to motor retail in the next five to 10 years, and further ahead.

To fuel the feature and the debate, AM is calling for papers from industry experts, interested parties and senior automotive business leaders outlining how they see the future evolving for motor retail, the driving forces behind that evolution, and how dealers can adapt their businesses to remain relevant and profitable. This would apply to:

  • Technology
  • Mobility
  • Powertrains
  • Electric Vehicles
  • Cleaner Cities
  • Travel Management
  • Car sharing

Submissions, or any queries about this process, should be send to AM's editor Tim Rose tim.rose@bauermedia.co.uk with the subject line 'AML Vision of the Future'

The Schedule

April 30, 2018 – Successful submissions receive notice of acceptance

July 11, 2018 – Final materials due: Slides (PDF) and paper/feature/display to exhibit visuals
