MG has unveiled the new MG6, which comes to market with a starting price of £13,995.

MG claims the new model offers improved performance; a striking new design, with a redesigned front and LED daytime running lights; higher levels of comfort; enhanced levels of standard specification; and key technical advances, over its predecessor. 

There are three trim levels to choose from; S, TS and TL. S sees; heated front seats, electronic handbrake, LED daylight running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, an all-new electronic differential, which works in conjunction with a stability control system, ensuring that wheel spin in cornering is kept under control.

TS trim adds; part man-made leather seats, rear parking sensors, automatic lights, windscreen wipers, cruise control, auto dimming mirrors, plus, the all-new touch infotainment from MG, which features a 7-inch touchscreen, app-based operation, DAB radio, video in, and iGo by NNG navigation.

At the top of the range TL trim, starting at £17,995, has leather seats, speed sensitive Bi-Xenon HID, which follow the turn of the front wheels  giving the driver a clear view of potential hazards when cornering in the dark, a rear camera, dual zone climate control, and electric seats.

The 2015 DTi-TECH engine is the latest generation of MG’s own developed diesel engine, developing 148bhp and producing 119g/km of CO2, with an MPG of 61.4 combined.
