Former HPI head of automotive finance Darren Greenyer has joined Raphaels Bank as deputy head of lending.

His appointment is a move designed to strengthen Raphaels Bank’s focus on introducer relationships in both its motor and asset finance sectors.

A core element of Greenyer’s role will be to develop and boost relationships with lending partners. He will also utilise his industry acumen to enhance ease of access to Raphaels’ consumer and asset finance solutions for intermediaries, said the company.

Greenyer has joined Raphaels Bank after almost a decade with HPI, in roles including product and business development director; F&I director and head of automotive finance.

Carl Virgo, head of lending, said:  “Darren understands that intermediaries need quick decisions, efficient service and flexible procedures based on both personalised and automated business solutions, along with a high-quality, customer-service orientated approach.

“These are the cornerstones of our proposition and Darren will play a pivotal role in extending awareness of our offering and supporting our growth ambitions.”
