Secured, the manufacturer and distributor of forensic marking technology for the automotive industry has appointed Chris Taylor as chief technology officer.

He has more than 15 years’ experience specialising in forensic DNA markers.

Taylor (pictured) said: “The unique commercial proposition offered by Secured to motor dealers in this changing and challenging financial market means that our advanced DNA markers will provide a real and effective theft deterrent for owners of vehicles and their property, whilst providing motor dealers with a sustainable, value added income stream.”

Taylor will head the design and development of Secured’s range of DNA forensic markers.

John Elliott, Secured managing director, said:  “This is the first of several key appointments we are making to implement our planned initiatives in 2016.”
