Bristol Street Motors is welcoming two new recruits to its Seat dealership in Birmingham, including the site’s first Motability sales executive.

Darren Davis will become the site’s first Motability sales executive having worked as a Motability specialist in the service departments of a number of motor retailers, amassing more than 20 years’ experience in the industry.

Davis said that he was inspired to work for the Motability Scheme as his mum has a disability, so has first-hand experience of the needs of his customers.

He has two sales executives, Mohammad Gahda And Kevin Bromley, assisting him with the dealership’s Motability customers.

Davis said: “I think that working on the service side of the Motability Scheme has provided me with lots of transferable skills that I have been able to adopt into my role as a Motability sales executive.

“I love working in my new position, I have been fortunate to meet some fantastic people and have been able to find the best vehicle to fit a person’s individual needs, which is very rewarding.”

Darren Cook recently joined the Watson Road site as general manager and has been with Vertu Motors, the Group which operates Bristol Street Motors, since February last year. Cook has almost two decades of experience in the motor industry.

Cook said: “My aim is to ensure that the dealership delivers the highest possible standard of service to customers in Birmingham and the surrounding areas, and to demonstrate our company values on a daily basis.

“I think that a happy team makes a brilliant team and I am fortunate to work with so many enthusiastic, hard-working individuals.”
