Range Rover Evoque models registered between 2012 and 2017 have topped Carwow’s list of most profitable used vehicles sold for under £5,000 this year.
The average margin for the Evoque was £2,398.
Based on sales data from Carwow’s daily online auctions, the analysis ranked vehicles using the ‘retail-back’ principle.
This compares auction purchase prices to cap Retail valuations to estimate potential dealer margins. The results are drawn from transactions since January 1, 2025.
The Audi A3 Sportback, with registration years from 2009 to 2016, followed closely behind with a potential margin of £2,345.
Sally Foote, chief commercial officer – Sell My Car, at Carwow, said: “This top 10 list highlights the diversity of the stock available in Carwow auctions, as well as the healthy margins available to savvy dealers specialising in this profile of stock.
