Sportif Suzuki marks 45 years of service with regional dealer award

Sportif Suzuki is celebrating a major milestone this month as it marks 45 years as a Suzuki dealer.

The dealership, based on Witney Road in Long Hanborough, has been representing Suzuki since 1979, operating under various names over the decades including Hotson Suzuki and John Bowtell Suzuki before becoming Sportif Suzuki in August 2000.

Nick Allen, managing director, joined the business in 2001 as dealer principal and, alongside his wife Annie, purchased the dealership in 2018. Under their ownership, the business has gone from strength to strength – an achievement recognised by being voted Regional Dealer of the Year at Suzuki’s National Dealer Conference.

The award is based on a rigorous nationwide assessment of all Suzuki dealerships, measuring performance across sales, customer experience, and loyalty to the brand. Sportif Suzuki was praised for excelling in all areas.

Reflecting on the milestone, Nick Allen said: “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built over the past 45 years.
