Meriva. Vauxhall's mini-MPV goes on sale in the autumn for about £12,000. Originally code-named Viva, it is built on the Corsa platform and has a Flex 5 system to allow seats to be folded flat or removed.

Meriva's wheelbase is almost as long as the Zafira's. It will be offered with diesel and petrol engines ranging from 1.6-litre (74bhp) to 1.8-litre (123bhp).
