Toyota will display the FXS Sports Concept car at the Tokyo motor show later this month. FXS is short for "Future Experimental Sports". This two-seater roadster has been designed under the theme, of "a simple and sexy form with a sense of presence" complete with full leather interior highlighted by touches of chrome and bluish-white illuminated dials.

The FXS is powered by a 4.3-litre V8 engine mated to a six-speed sequential manual transmission. Toyota is shying away as yet from saying whether the car will go into production.

The FXS is just one of a total of 17 concept vehicles on display at this year's show together with 39 production vehicles.
