The new Jazz is not radically different to look at from the Honda Jazz it replaces. However, the third generation Jazz is longer to provide more rear legroom and it is based on a new versatile platform. It also comes with a new Sport Hybrid system that Honda says offers 35% better economy than the outgoing model, so expect around 90mpg and emissions substantially below 100g/km. The latest hybrid system uses a new seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox with built-in electric motor to save weight and emissions. The UK will also receive a non-hybrid petrol Jazz with a 1.5-litre petrol motor.
