About the role...
Within the role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, tone and frequency of internal and external communications on behalf of the business.
Whilst identifying and producing compelling news stories for B2B and B2C audiences, you will manage the website and media centre content via Kentico and Wordpress CMS systems and take control of the day-to-day management of editorial calendar and agency, including the selection of stories for daily publication, as consistent with brand guidelines and tone of voice. Shaping and implementing the brand’s social media strategy, you will analyse and report on website, social media and PR performance using a range of analytical tools whilst identifying opportunities to promote and repurpose video content across various marketing channels. The Content Marketing Executive will also measure and track popular content via Google Analytics, working with the SEO Manager and agency to plan future campaigns based on keyword search volumes.
We’re looking for an individual who has a strong background in producing written copy for a range of audience types. Educated to degree level of equivalent with proven experience in a similar role, you will be able to write copy to the highest grammatical standard of English and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Confident in working on your own initiative as well as part of a team, you will have a keen attention to detail coupled with outstanding writing and editing skills.
This role demands a creative mind brimming with ideas. You should be self-motivated with an enthusiastic attitude to a challenge and have a good understanding or experience with content management systems. We also ask that you possess the ability to tailor content for different audience types and have a genuine passion about all things marketing.
Those who hold a professional qualification such as; CIM award, NUJ, MA or a Postgraduate Diploma are highly desirable, as are those who have a good understanding of SEO practices. Experience with social media monitoring tools such as Tweetdeck and Facebook for business would also be beneficial, as would the ability to produce or edit video and audio content.
