Rygor is looking for an organised and efficient service advisor to join its award-winning team at its Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Dealership in Nuneaton.
They are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, who will be able to control and maximise service and repair bookings to ensure that all resources required in completing the work are available on schedule.
You will approach this role with a commercial mind, actively selling after sales services in a customer-orientated manner (i.e.: service contracts), ensuring the workshop is working to full capacity by effectively scheduling customer bookings.
You will be committed to taking responsibility for managing the customer service journey, updating customers on repair times and status, estimates and gaining approval for additional work.
Main Duties include:
To receive customers and their vehicles in a friendly and professional manner, discuss and confirm their requirements and take responsibility for the vehicle during its time at the dealership.
To work with the workshop team to achieve the highest possible levels of performance.
Keeping customers informed of the status of their vehicle, giving comprehensive technical and commercial advice on the extent of work to be done and provide a cost estimate for repair work as required.
Inform customers and potential customers about accessories and subsequent fitting of optional extras.
To ensure that collection and delivery drivers operate to schedule and meet customer and workshop expectations.
To ensure all customer and vehicle data is correctly captured and loaded to the Kerridge Dealer Management System and updated as required.
To ensure that repair orders are raised and processed according to the established guidelines and that work is completed to schedule and required standard.
To ensure that invoicing is accurate and completed on time.
To take responsibility for subcontracted repairs and ensure the work has been completed.
Ensure that proper use is made of technical information and that it is understood how to use the manufacturers systems.
To ensure all relevant warranty documentation and parts are identified and are kept for the warranty team.
To maintain high standards of housekeeping within both the front of house and back of house service areas ensuring a safe working environment.
Rygor Nuneaton are looking for someone who is keen to take on a new challenge with a brand that is at the forefront of technology and innovation. You will have worked in a similar role within the motor trade, ideally commercial vehicles previously, have fantastic customer service skills and ideally a technical understanding. You will ideally have experience of using Kerridge/Keyloop (however this will form part of your training) and have high levels of attention to detail.
