R-M is launching a series of new services and products for its distributor and bodyshop customers this year as it pursues a 12% UK market share.

The refinish supplier is targeting £15m turnover within three years, doubling market share on the back of a 10% year-on-year growth across Europe. Last year, it turned over £6.5m.

Paul Buckingham, R-M UK managing director, said Programmes for Success was initially rolled-out to 10 small bodyshop groups. “They all made substantial savings on their bottom line and we have converted some from rivals to our products,” he said.

The scheme includes three management-support modules – advising on bodyshop design, equipment and manpower audits, and performance monitoring – and two development-support modules.
