AM readers to help choose gold winner

Automotive Management is to be the exclusive media partner in the Castrol/IMI gold medal award 2000.

Last year the Institute of the Motor Industry and Castrol, sponsor of the award, invited Automotive Management and AutoExpress to broaden debate in drawing up a short list. Tony Willard, Automotive Management editor, who will be on the judging panel, said: “We're delighted to be so closely associated with this award which has a unique standing in the motor industry.

“Over the years, we have run our own awards to recognise the enterprise of people and companies in the retail motor industry.

“The Castrol/IMI Award is made to someone who has made a special contribution to the industry and to the millions who drive cars.”

A new logo produced by the IMI will be used in the promotion of the award which will be presented at its annual dinner at the London Savoy next March.
