Vauxhall's new Corsavan, based on the recently launched Corsa car, goes on sale in March.

It has a load area of 1,000 litres and a payload limit of 455kgs and 495kgs depending on the engine size.

One trim level and a choice of three four-cylinder engines will be available: a 1.2 litre petrol and two 1.7 turbo diesel engines(65PS or 75PS).

Both engines have a top speed of 106mph.

Standard features include power steering, a driver's airbag, Active Head Restraints and Vauxhall's patented pedal release system. A tachometer, clock and radio/cassette are also standard. A partition is fitted behind the front seats.

Service intervals are at 20,000 miles or once a year and the Corsavan will come with a 6-year anti-perforation and 3-year mechanical warranty.

Prices will be confirmed nearer the on-sale date. The current Corsavan GLS costs from £8,090 OTR.
