Three hundred apprentices are taking part in Peugeot's advanced modern apprenticeship programme.

During the three-year programme, held at the purpose-built traning facility in Nottingham and at Peugeot's training centre in Coatbridge, near Glasgow, apprentices receive instruction on the use of Peugeot tools, literature and diagnostic equipment.

During the three-year programme, the apprentices work at their sponsoring Peugeot dealership and spend periods of block release at the dedicated training centres.

At the end of the programme, successful apprentices will be awarded a City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance and repair or vehicle body repair or paint spraying.

"The Peugeot programme is a perfect example of how Peugeot and its dealers are investing together in the future," said Charles Greenland, Peugeot's director of parts and service.
