Nissan revealed its Alpha T concept pick-up at last month's Detroit motor show, clearly marking its intention to move into the full-size truck market.

Carlos Ghosn, Nissan Motor Co president, said: "The Alpha T concept pushes the envelope of contemporary pick-up truck styling." Alpha T features a 4dr body, massive front grille, bumper and headlamps, and a retractable rear window. Nissan believes it "evokes a sense that it can work hard and play harder - it's a lifestyle necessity rather than an accessory".
