EMA Computer Solutions has launched a bodyshop loading, control and management reporting system, which fits between the estimating and management system to help repairers maximise productivity and profits.

Bodyshop Manager spent six years in development with leading dealer groups, including Lancaster, CD Bramall, Polar and Sytner, independent repairers and manufacturers like Ford and Mercedes.

EMACS IT director Eric Hargreaves, who developed the system with his brother, sales director Alan Hargreaves, said the modular system would help bodyshops to “maximise their productivity and profitability”.

He said: “It highlights the areas where bodyshops are not efficient and shows them how to improve.”

The EMACS annual software licence fee is £3,300 per site, based on a three-year fixed price contract, with an additional £300 per site for the estimating module. A pre-installation two-day training course costs £250 per delegate.
