Stability is in sight for the UK used car market after more than two years of collapsing vehicle values, according to Cap Network.

Chief economist Mark Cowling will brief delegates at the Automotive Management spring conference – Used cars: the future – on the likely strength of the recovery.

Around 100 delegates have already reserved places at the conference which will be held at the Birmingham International Convention Centre on Thursday, May 24. The 2001 AM100 will be revealed at a dinner the same day, prior to publication.

John Kiff, a director of the International Car Distribution Programme, will chair the conference. Other speakers are Gerard Murray (Reg Vardy), John Brewer (MSN Carview), Adrian Rushmore (Glass's) and Martin Hall (Finance and Leasing Association).
