Dentmaster, the paintless dent remover, has been rebranded Dent Wizard, the name of its parent company, as it bids to take advantage of the growing UK market.

The newly-named Dent Wizard, acquired by the US firm 18 months ago, is the preferred supplier for several UK dealer groups, manufacturers and auction companies BCA and Manheim. It also provides cosmetic paint repairs under its Flying Colours subsidiary.

Scott Blind, Dent Wizard managing director, said: “Dent Wizard carried out 2m repairs in the US last year. With the growing emphasis on maximising residual values, we expect the UK market to follow the US example.

A spokesman said the company was confident of doubling its business over the next few months.

“Auctions are increasingly focusing on smart repairs to maximise cars' resale value. Dealers and manufacturers are now taking the same attitude,” he said.
