Chrysler and Jeep are gearing up for a raft of new products and stronger branding with the appointment of former Mercedes-Benz northern region manager Lawrence Good as UK sales director.

Good, who has worked in the industry for 21 years - the last five in the DaimlerChrysler organisation - replaces Jeremy Simpson, the newly-promoted Smart UK chief.

“Chrysler Jeep is now firmly established into DaimlerChrysler and my appointment comes at a time when there are great opportunities in terms of exciting product launches and a stronger brand position in the UK market,” says Good.

With responsibility for new and used car volumes, Good reports to Chrysler and Jeep UK managing director Simon Elliott.
