The four-acre site has space for 650 new and used cars and will help the group drive sales forward from 2000 units a year to 3000 over the next few years. John Quigley, Sytner managing director, says: “The site will help us capitalise on BMW's rapidly expanding product portfolio including the 1-series, X3 and X5. Our long term aim is to increase turnover at the site from £45m a year to £60m.” As part of the development, Sytner has bought the adjacent Godfrey Davies Mazda and plans to convert it into a Mini showroom.
