Hams Hall to get mini engines

BMW chairman Dr Norbert Reithofer is stepping down from the business today.

BMW staff at the Hams Hall engine plant in Warwickshire are striking over "broken promises" on pay and could affect production at BMW's factory in Oxford which produces Mini cars.

Sytner Group’s Audi showroom on Canal Road, Bradford, has confirmed it has closed for business.

David Beattie will take the helm as director of Mini UK and Ireland in the New Year, succeeding Federico Izzo, who moves on to become head of Mini in Europe after successfully overseeing the relaunch of the new Mini family in the UK.

Vertu’s BMW dealership in Dorchester is closing, leaving a dozen employees facing redundancy.
