Ford will be the focus of environmentalist wrath in the on-going anti-SUVs in the United States next month. The Rainforest Action Network and Global Exchange will sponsor protests at Ford throughout the country on June 7 throughout because the company broke its alleged promise to increase SUV fuel efficiency.

Both groups were involved in the global trade talks that turned violent in Seattle in 1999. The groups also said they will disrupt the company's birthday celebration in Dearbornfrom June 14-15 and the shareholders meeting on June 16, says a report in the Detroit Times.
