Kia is working in conjunction with the Incorporated Society of British Advertisers and Guy Jones, Kia's marketing director, will oversee the appointment of the winning agency.
Guy Jones comments that: "The review is to ensure Kia has the best partners to deal with our aggressive growth strategy for the critical period of 2004-2006. Kia Motors is growing at a remarkable rate and the chosen agency needs to evolve with the business, develop the brand and its reputation over the coming years."
Mustoes has worked with Kia for four years and has been responsible for developing a number of campaigns, including "Think Before You Drive". Kia feels that it is time to review creativity, costs and work styles especially as Kia has a range of new models entering the market in the forthcoming months. Jones heads a marketing team of five but is currently recruiting to fill a new 13-strong team.
