Lotus is to make 350 non-manufacturing staff redundant following the cancellation of an engineering consultancy project for an unnamed vehicle manufacturer.

Production of Lotus cars will be unaffected, as will the development of the engineering centre of excellence at Lotus’ Norfolk HQ announced earlier this year.
