Audi has announced it will be launching its new A2 1.4 (73bhp) Special Edition and A2 1.4 TDI (73bhp) Special Edition models to order now at OTR prices of £12,715 and £13,695 with more standard equipment, saving the equivalent of £2,000.

Special Edition models add electronic climate control and a Concert radio with single CD player to the A2 standard equipment list, which includes 15-inch alloy wheels, remote control central locking, electric front windows and mirrors and a full safety and security features. All optional extras currently offered for outgoing Standard models will be available to A2 Special Edition customers.

The new editions will replace all existing A2 standard, SE and Sport models and are due to go on sale in January 2005.
