Auca has announced its leadership team to head the launch of its new wholesale used vehicle aggregation platform, offering more than 10,000 vehicles available for trade buyers.
The platform is set to launch in July, consolidating stock from multiple sources and offering dealers a more efficient, centralised solution for sourcing wholesale vehicles.
The team includes CEO Lisa Grimsley, strategic director Michael Buxton, and client services director Jamie Newman who will together launch the solution for professional used car buyers.
Designed to eliminate the need for dealers to log into multiple websites to source stock, Auca aggregates vehicles from across a wide range of wholesale platforms, bringing cars, LCVs, trucks, motorcycles and classic vehicles together in one place for the first time.
Lisa Grimsley, who has led the design and development of the platform, brings more than three decades of experience, including senior roles at Manheim, Aston Barclay and BCA Marketplace.
“The motor trade has always been time-poor when it comes to sourcing wholesale stock from an ever-growing number of physical and online providers,” she said. “Based on these known challenges we have pulled all the stock and key tasks into one place which will make a dealer’s life much easier.”
Michael Buxton, who joins Auca’s board with responsibility for strategic and financial planning, spent 25 years at Cox Automotive, where he held senior leadership roles including UK CEO and international president.
Jamie Newman, the newly appointed client services director, joins from Aston Barclay and brings deep operational knowledge of auction processes, having managed major sites and worked as an auctioneer.
Grimsley said early feedback during the pilot phase has been “incredibly positive,” with professional buyers responding well to the streamlined approach.
“Auca spells good news for both buyers and sellers, and we are pleased to announce an experienced team to make it a big success,” she added.
