Vehicle collection and delivery specialist United Fleet Distribution has appointed a new managing director.

Mike Hutchings takes charge of the Birmingham-based business with immediate effect.

Formerly a director of UFD, Mike has more 20 years experience of running transport and distribution operations. His appointment is part of the long-term growth plan for the business and he will be responsible for strengthening existing customer relationships and developing new opportunities.
