Motoring information provider Glass's has struck a deal with MSN.co.uk to provide online vehicle valuations for its 16.2m users. The service, which costs £2.95 per valuation, will be offered via the internet giant's cars channel as part of the one-year contract.

Data covering more than 50 manufacturers will be available and each valuation takes into account mileage and condition. It can be adjusted for options and extras to maximise accuracy.

Amanda Anthony, digital marketing manager for MSN UK, says the service will be a strong addition to the company's cars channel. She would not comment on the potential of link ups with traditional dealers.
