The £16m turnover Car Crash Line Group has announced a name change to CCL UK Group.

Will Snelgrove, the CEO and chairman who founded CCL in 1997, says that as the non-fault accident management function that they provide now accounts for 25% of its turnover, the board and management felt a name change should reflect the changes of role within the insurance industry, and pave the way for future expansion and acquisitions.

CCL employs more than 200 staff across the UK. Over 100 staff are based at CCL’s head office and call administration centre at Verswood, Dorset, the remainder distribute the vehicles from a network of major insurance groups including Cornhill, Norwich Union, the RAC and Zurich.

The group now comprises of CCL UK, Car Crash Line, Bike Crash Line, the leasing and car procurement company One Stop Car shop and 25% shareholding of on-line commercial vehicle providers.
