The president of Renault Europe Automobile Andre Bodis was in Birmingham for the unveiling of a £1.75m refurbishment of one of Renault Retail Group’s flagship dealerships.

Renault Birmingham is the latest of the group’s 21 showrooms to undergo major work. The programme is intended to improve Renault’s representation in strategic cities to enable dealerships to offer a more comprehensive range of services, including fleet sales, van servicing and trade parts sales.

Located in Digbeth High Street, the site now incorporates indoor new and used car showrooms, a landscaped forecourt, a large covered display area and a first floor service area with bays for 21 vehicles.

Bodis was accompanied by Renault Retail Group managing director Jean-Gabriel Carlier and Renault Birmingham general manager David Bamford.
