A dedicated training centre providing courses for dealer aftersales activity has won accreditation from the Institute of the Motor Industry this month.

The centre, owned and managed by Forester Grant Associates in Harefield, Middlesex, provides courses for dealers covering key areas such as customer service and managing fast fit centres.

The courses are also IMI accredited and follow a one, two or three year monitored professional development scheme structure, making them equivalent to NVQs.

Tim McGing, operations director at Forester Grant, said: "We have been running specialist training courses here for many years, but winning IMI accreditation under its Quality Assured Awards initiative marks a genuine step forward for us.

"Not only will we be able to run existing IMI accredited courses but will be able to introduce new ones to meet new challenges in the motor industry."

Forester Grant is an international vehicle aftersales business development company that operates on a worldwide basis, with a 30 year history.
