Bentley model could be assembled in Dresden

Volkswagen is reported to be considering a second model for production at its Dresden plant alongside the Phaeton.

VW boss Bernd Pischetsrieder has told the German magazine Auto Motor und Sport that the success of Bentley’s Continental GT has absorbed nearly all the Crewe factory’s capacity, so that the production of its new limousine for certain markets could be an option for the new East German factory to absorb spare capacity.
