Hugh McMahon, owner of Glasgow Audi, the world’s biggest Audi showroom when it was opened last October, is to build a second dealership.

“We have bought a site in Ayr on which we are awaiting planning permission,” he says. The Ayr site will either be financed by McMahon or it will be built by Audi and leased back to him, as was the case with Glasgow.
