A high-performance version of the Chrysler Crossfire, the SRT-6, will arrive in the UK in April featuring a 330bhp 3.2 V6 supercharged engine.

The new SRT-6 reaches an electronically limited top speed of 155mph and 0-62 mph in 5.3 seconds.

The Crossfire SRT-6 will have its performance-tuned, as well as an upgraded five-speed automatic transmission. The electronic stability program (ESP) has also been tuned, while upgraded performance brakes allow the SRT-6 to go from 60 to 0 mph in 115 feet (35 metres).

Lighter 15 spoke SRT alloy wheels (18-inch front and 19-inch rear), along with leather heated seats and SRT-6 badging completes the changes. A fixed spoiler replaces the retractable type found on the standard vehicle.

The SRT-6 is priced from £34,335 for the Coupe and £35,335 for the Roadster.

The price of the Crossfire Coupe and Roadster with the standard 3.2 V6 engine has also been revised for 2005. The manual Coupe is now priced at £24,995 (£26,235 for the automatic) and the manual roadster at £25,995 (£27,235 for the automatic). ESP, cruise control, leather upholstery and air conditioning all come as standard.
